New Website

Are you excited when you have something new?

I feel like a little girl who debuts a new toy.

I want to introduce you to my new website.  It has specially designed to give the best possible service and to explain how I can help you with your guided tour when you come to Granada.

My logo: Miriam Tourist Guide

One element that you will find on my website is my logo.

I would like to share its connotations because it represents the essence of how I like to work when I design your visits.

A new website for your most authentic experiences in Granada

My name

My name Miriam, has a Hebrew origin, מִרְיָם. It has a very special meaning “God’s beloved”, “the elect” because it is a Mary name variant.

According to the bible, Miriam is Moses’ and Aaron’s sister. She was the one who took care of Moses by placing him in a basket on the Nile River to save his life from death.

The connotations that receive my name according to the experts are: attentive, thoughtful, loyal, organized, responsible, creative, and passionate.

Estrenamos nueva web Miriam Tourist Guide

We always want to try new things to offer the best to the people in our environment.  We are very intuitive and this allows us to anticipate the intentions of others. For that, we are good hosts.

Many of those qualities will have to be confirmed by my friends, but I can tell you the way I work:  I love being a hostess.  I especially love being able to make it possible for those who come to Granada to feel part of it.  I hope you enjoy the city with the same detail and pamper with which I can enjoy it.

My profession: Tourist guide

Tourist guide is the profession I practice officially as a freelance. I am an Andalucía tour guide with a license number 2565.

The Alhambra

The Alhambra in the background, highlights the city’s most visited heritage and the reason why most people come to Granada. Although, I must tell you that Granada has many hidden treasures to discover.

The heart

The heart represents the love that brought me to this city. The love that keeps me working with the same passion every day to offer the best of my work to those who like you trust me.

Green color

The green color is my favorite because it represents hope, harmony, growth, and freshness.  It is a relaxing color that goes perfectly with me because I offer you serenity and harmony between history-experience.

It also symbolizes a sensory function directly related to vegetation, which invites us to enjoy the senses.  Listen to the water sounds, smell the orange blossom & roses’ different aromas, see the incredible Nasrid decoration in their palaces, taste its gastronomy and feel the Granada magical corners.

Authentic guided tours and experiences in my new website

Come to live these sensations as you delve into the culture still alive in the local resident’s daily lives, those we call “granadinos”.

I propose several  guided visits  in my new website that can be customized in detail for you:

Apart from visiting our most typical monuments and areas, we can enjoy the city in an even more authentic way.  We can walk through its historical city center to know the most important works during the Catholic Monarchs time in Granada.

We will stop on the way to taste the other Alhambra, our local beer.  And try the typical local tapas.  Maybe you would rather have a Halal experience. Or you just want to fulfill your dream of learning to cook an authentic homemade paella. You choose which options are better for you.

In the evening, I invite you to discover the Granada Gypsy quarter enchantment: Sacromonte. A flamenco show awaits you, but not just any, this one is special. Experiment with a Zambra in the first person. The Zambra is a Moors music evolution and it is different from any part of Andalucía because you can enjoy it inside a cave. It is a unique experience.

Granada has innumerable possible unforgettable experiences

If you want to feel the city as if you were part of it, write me and we will design the experience for you.

I will wait for you in Granada.
